Including Family Members You have the option to include family members in your initial application or add them later but before the visa decision. Family members include your partner, dependent child or stepchild, and even the dependent child or stepchild of your or your partner’s dependent child or stepchild. Those holding subclass 457 or subclass 482 visas based on family ties can also be included. Family Requirements Family members applying with you must meet health and character requirements. Even those not applying with you might have to fulfill specific criteria. Cost The visa application costs AUD4,640.00 for the main applicant. Additional charges apply for each family member applying with you. NOTE:Under this stream, undergoing a Skill Assessment is obligatory. Moreover, a proficiency in English equivalent to IELTS 6 in each module is a prerequisite. Additionally, any secondary applicant aged 18 and above must demonstrate Functional English ability, attaining an Overall IELTS score of 4.5 or its equivalent within the last 1 year.

Labour Agreement Stream:

This visa lets skilled workers who are nominated by their employer live and work in Australia permanently. The Labour Agreement stream might be for you if you currently work, or will work, for an employer who is party to a labour agreement. Temporary Residence Transition Stream:

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, live and work in Australia permanently. If you hold a 457 visa, have worked in Australia for the past two years (excluding periods of unpaid leave) in the same occupation with the nominating employer, and they are now offering you a permanent position in that occupation, you may be eligible to apply under this stream. Note: No Skill Assessment is necessary for this stream. However, proficiency in English equivalent to IELTS 5 in each module is required unless exempted. Additionally, any secondary applicant aged 18 and above must demonstrate Functional English ability, achieving an Overall IELTS score of 4.5 or its equivalent within the last 12 months unless exempted. Visa Benefits Stay: Indefinite residency in Australia. Work and Study: Freedom to work and study. Health Care: Access to Australia’s Medicare scheme. Family Sponsorship: Eligibility to sponsor relatives. Travel: Flexibility to travel to and from Australia for 5 years.
