Skilled Nominated Visa (SUBCLASS 190)

Duration of Stay:

• This visa is permanent, allowing indefinite stay in Australia.
• The visa includes a travel component that expires five years from the grant date.

Permanent Residency:

You attain permanent resident status on the day the visa is granted.

For citizenship purposes:

• If in Australia, permanent residency begins on the visa grant day.
• If outside Australia, it starts on the day you enter Australia on this visa.

Family Inclusion:

• You have the option to include family members in your visa application, either at the time of submission or later, before a visa decision is made.
• Family members applying must meet health and character requirements. Those not accompanying you to Australia may also need to fulfill health and character criteria.

• If your partner or dependent children are not part of this application, kindly provide the reason to facilitate visa processing.

 Cost:

• The main applicant incurs a visa cost of AUD4,640.00.
• Additionally, there is a charge for each accompanying family member applying for the visa with you.

Additional Charges:

• Applicants aged 18 or older with less than functional English may incur an extra charge known as the second installment, payable upon visa approval.
• The second installment charge for family members is AUD4,885.
• Note that the Visa Pricing Estimator excludes the second installment and other potential costs, such as health checks, police certificates, and biometrics.
