Overview:

This visa is suitable for individuals with highly specialized skills, knowledge, or experience that can assist Australian businesses. It allows temporary work in Australia for non-ongoing tasks that are likely to be completed within six months or less. The work should not be related to the Australian entertainment industry.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Specialized Skills: Applicants must possess skills, knowledge, or experience that are not readily available in the Australian labor market.
  • Proof of Work: Applicants need to provide evidence of the intended work, such as a resume, licenses, qualifications, or a letter from the overseas employer detailing the current position and duties.
  • Work Limitations: The visa does not allow engagement in entertainment-related activities or productions intended for broadcast or performance in Australia.
  • Financial Support: Applicants and their family members must have adequate means to support themselves during their stay in Australia.
  • Health and Character: Both the applicant and family members aged 16 and above must meet health and character requirements.
  • Genuine Visitor: Applicants must have genuine intentions to stay temporarily in Australia and comply with visa conditions.
  • Debt and Visa History: Applicants should have no outstanding debts to the Australian government and must not have had a visa cancelled or application refused previously.

Duration and Extension:
