Duration of Stay:
This is a permanent visa, allowing indefinite stay in Australia. The status of permanent residency is granted on the day the visa is issued, either upon approval while in Australia or upon entry for those outside Australia.
Including Family:
Applicants can include family members in their application, and additional family members can be added at any point before a decision is reached. For applicants under 18, inclusion is limited to parents and their family unit.
Family members applying for the visa must meet health and character requirements, irrespective of their accompanying status.
Nominator Requirements:
To be eligible for this visa, applicants must be nominated by a credible individual or organization with a notable reputation in the same field. The nominator, who can be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, eligible New Zealand citizen, or an Australian organization, should endorse the applicant’s achievements and international standing.
