• Multiple entries and exits from Australia throughout the visa’s validity period

Key Application Requirements:

• If applying from outside Australia, the intention to stay for 3 months or less, with sponsorship from an organization or individual conducting events or activities in Australia
• Sponsorship by an approved sponsor who has passed the sponsorship test
• Adequate financial support and health insurance coverage for the duration of the stay in Australia
• Fulfillment of the criteria associated with the activity conducted under this visa

Sponsorship Criteria:

• Eligible sponsors include Australian organizations, government agencies, foreign government agencies, sports-endorsing organizations, recognized religious foundations, and registered businesses with operations in Australia
• For super yacht crew members, sponsorship can be provided by the captain or proprietor of the super yacht or the operating organization

Health and Character Requirements:

• Submission of health examinations or health-related documentation
• Provision of police certificates demonstrating a clean criminal record

Financial Background:

• Evidence of financial capacity, including bank statements, employment contracts, and assistance from the sponsoring employer in Australia

Health Insurance:

• Mandatory coverage by Medicare health scheme if the applicant’s country lacks a reciprocal health care agreement with Australia

English Language Proficiency:

• Demonstration of functional English proficiency through standardized tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE

Other Considerations:

• Assessment of the applicant’s circumstances in their home country, employment background, and proficiency in English
